2001~2005 Foals  April 4, 2001 "L.D Yuka" Bay Filly with star. By L.D Joker out of Arabian mare  Yukas Dam was an escape artist she had been "accidently" bred the year before by the boarding facilities paint stallion.? THis mare was so old, when? the vet was asked to check her age by her teeth, she looked in the mares mouth , turned around and said " a horse has to have teeth to check her age"! The mares nickname was bony pony as every bone showed no matter how much feed she got,? She always had what some refered to as a hay belly even with all these bones showing.. Unkown to all at the time, this mare got out and was serviced through the fence by my stallion L.D Joker.. The ranch hands all hispanic and not speaking very good english, were in Bony Ponys stall cleaning one morning when they saw something "sticking out" of the mare.. running to a friend of the ranch owners they yelled "Charlie, Charllie come quick"!! Charile came a running! ?To his horror the mare had prolapsed!! He figured as the owner would be upset if she saw the mare hanging out.. he would push it back in and tell her the mare looked sick and perhaps they should call the vet!! So Charlie got to pushing.. and pushing.. As Bony got to pushing the other way:) When out popped a? foot!?   Curly Coat Pics
we lost this filly in Oct. 2005 May 8, 2002 "L.D. Prairie Wind" Champagne dun filly no white markings. By L.D Whispering Wind out of L.D Rainy  1 day old  yearling April 28, 2004 L.D Sage Gaited Zebra Dun Colt with small star. By King Of Spain out of L.D Barbwire~N~Roses  A very sweet easy going gaited boy! He is tall and leggy,? large intellegent soft eye, with a mane and tail that won't quit! He has been gelded, as he is to be a family riding horse! This fine fellow was a trade, in exchange I was able to breed Chantilly Lace to the stallion of my choice (L.D Joker) and have a keeper foal! L.D Sage has since moved to Montana! May 29, 2004 L.D Windswept Champagne Dun Roan Filly small star. By L.D Whispering Wind out of L.D Rainy  August 11, 2006  2 years old This opinionated filly has a mind and will all her own! She's the "bringer of the herd" and the "its dinner time announcer"! Nickers everytime she hears you open the door. Trying to get a picture of her without her tongue sticking out, or her closing one eye just to be a pest, is abought as hard as trying to cut a wiggling toddlers hair Straight! Leads, Ties, Bathes, picks up feet and jumps in our trailer without a hitch of course she thinks all these things are her idea!!? We look forward to seeing this one grow up! L.D Sunrise Suprise April 13, 2005 Dun Overo Filly By L.D Joker out of Chantilly Lace    August 11, 2006 Now this filly was 2 days shy of the average 240 days. She missed out on the 2 weeks of summer like weather and was born the night of a snow storm.? In the middle of the night, in one of those half asleep/ half awake dreamlike moments, I heard a strange nicker. I decided that it must be one of the prego mares brought into the barn who are usually in a farther from the house pasture.. so I faded back to sleep.. in the morning while feeding I heard the same nicker coming from the barn!? So I went to investigate the orgin and put a face with the nicker! To everyones suprise out trotted a gorgeous shivering overo dun filly nickering good morning to the world!
